A friend mentioned in her blog that writing English papers seemed to consist of taking a work of literature and some unrelated thing - like Hamlet, and muffins - and relating them.
Didn't Hamlet say nuffin'
About muffins?
After all that huffin' and puffin'
About whether to be or not,
He got awful hungry for something hot -
Namely a muffin with chocolate stuffin'.
Well the good news is that mostly you see couplets here. But I do like rhyme scheme variety, so you will be forced to endure the occasional abba.
ReplyDeleteIn this case, it was apparently:
aa abba
But I could have written it out so it was aa aa bb aa. Like this:
Didn't Hamlet say nuffin'
About muffins?
After all that huffin'
And puffin'
About whether to be or not,
He got awful hungry for something hot -
Namely a muffin
With chocolate stuffin'.
