That's an unusual rhyme scheme. I'm sure it's been used in popular poetry somewhere before, but I've never seen it.
It's one of the lesser used rhyme schemes. It's sometimes called "enclosed rhyme." Wikipedia has a short article on it under that name.To me it has a kind of odd effect, like of feeling that everything fell into place, but in an offbeat way.
