A young mother died after doctors failed to spot a 15cm-long toilet brush handle embedded in her buttock.She was drunk and fell on the toilet brush which somehow impaled her butt. And doctors - from 2 hospitals - took 2 years to figure it out.
And when they did figure it out, she died when they tried to remove it.
Did she have health insurance? Yes, national health insurance. In England.
Her husband says:
I think it was probably down to the hospitals trying to save money and doing things as cheaply as possible.Lives can be lost
controlling cost.
