Over There

Ah, the British:
I asked him what he was going to do next because the police were going to arrive soon. He said it was a war and if the police were coming, he was going to kill them. I asked him if that was a reasonable thing to do but it was clear that he really wanted to do that.
He was talking to a guy who had just beheaded a man in the street... and he was asking him whether his current plan was reasonable.

Reasonable? I think not.
And, reasonably soon, the lunatic got shot.

On a larger scale, do these events not strike you as a predictable--if not reasonable--blowback from launching errant wars?

Utterly predictable, overall, in a big picture way.
