Why Text Is Hexed

The nice thing about a phone
Is that it actually transmit the tone
Of the other person's voice.

In text, too often, you have the choice
Of reading what was written several ways.
Leading to misunderstandings that revolve, unresolved, for days.

Yea.. that's true.
Though I think there are two sides to it. While on the receiving end, in mind of the reader, the text can have various ambiguities... on the "sender's" end, I think writing down his thoughts probably allows for more articulated and intentional thoughts.
You know? For eg, the sender might find speaking over the phone extemporaneous and therefore the message not necessarily accurate or intentional. While on the receiving end, the listener finds a spoken message more revealing and more clarifying.

Ergo, you're right, of course.
