Laptop Happiness

My laptop has been fixed by some young men from the northwest corner of China. They now have a shop on the south side of Chicago, about a block from my house.

They figured out the memory had gone bad.

Immigrants may make some frown,
But I'm glad to live in a melting-pot town.

I have a Dell Inspiron 4150. It's 3 years old, and has held up well. My wife had trouble for some reason with the same model overheating.

Toshiba has an excellent reputation as a laptop maker. Others with good reputations are: Sony and HP-Compaq.

Of course, the Mac powerbook has a good rep, but it takes you out of the wonderful world of Windows.

Saturday the 18th, Kyle Sing will present. I don't have the exact description yet. I'll post it to the blog when I get the email on it. Kyle's going to talk about what he thinks Objectivists need to do for better outreach.
