Lindsay Perigo and James Valliant dropped into Orange County to talk about Valliant's book and stage a protest against The Objectivist Center's Summer Seminar. The event was held at a Borders bookstore. A few of my friends attended, substantially increasing the attendance at the event, which was scanty.
Two of my friends intended to buy copies of Mr. Valliant's book, but they were dissuaded from doing so by Perigo's shouting that TOC was a "coven of cowards."
A bully who's fully gas-powered

It's more like a haven for Howards.

I'm not convinced it's either.
I assure you that each of these is an alliterative exaggeration, not meant to be taken literally in either case.
Well, yes.. I did understand that. I, too, was referring to it in the figurative sense... I just don't think either side fits either of those "alliterative exaggerations".
Aha. Well, that's a reasonable opinion.
As one of many who experienced the tirades of Perigo, sober and drunken, I urge people to take no mind of the man. He is insignificant. His endorsement of the book is more to get at Barbara because she, and another former friend of his, both urged him to get help for his drinking problem. Like the true narcissist he denounced them. Then he denounced Chris Sciabarra because he refused to denounce BB. Now he is denouncing TOC because they have not denounced BB. And the proof he offers she lies is that she said he was an alcoholic in spite of the fact that hundreds of people have seen his excessive drinking over the years and been subject to his late night, wine induced, venom.
