Electronic Running

I bought the wrist GPS to get current speed while running.

But favorite feature, so far, is simple mileage.

Formerly I arranged my long runs so that it was easy to calculate mileage. Now I can run as the spirit moves me and the gizmo will just tell me the distance.

Not bound to any particular route,
I'm free to run till my legs give out.

If I can't take a step to save my life,
I use my cell phone to call my wife.

I ran 14 miles on Saturday. Well, I mostly ran them. Didn't have any water along the way (there simply is none) and carried none. By mile 10 or 11 I was parched, and struggled through the last few miles with some walking breaks. Dumb idea.
Slake your thirst
Or run your worst.

Wow, that's a really long way to run without drinking anything. I do think Gatorade or somebody should buy your rhyme.

Wow, I can't even begin to imagine what that must be like... running 14 miles without a drink!

Drink some watta!
