I just rated my own, and I was elementary level as well! :)I tested some of my favorite news sites. New York Times is junior high-level reading. BBC News is college-level reading.Do you think that means the British are smarter than us?!?! ;)
I believe the test is simply biased toward the British, and I demand a recount!!!More seriously, perhaps the preferred American style involves fewer big words and long sentences.
