I went to a pet store,
to buy a pet peeve.
How very annoying -
they asked me to leave!
I hate that darn pet store.
I'm nursing a grudge.
Don't try to console me.
My grudge will not budge.
Upon some reflection,
I found what I sought.
I have a pet peeve now,
though nothing was bought.
