That reminds me. I worked as a reporter one summer. I got the facts wrong about a fire once. Being a strict sort of guy, the editor was not pleased, and seemed to think I had the story wrong.
As for the facts, be flexible.
Bend them to fit the narrative.
Reality is optional,
The party line is imperative.
